Marketing Plan Overview

SRFI Business and Marketing Plan Outline

We have a unique specialty of expertise working with businesses to create a comprehensive, integrated and coordinated online/offline business/marketing and implementation plan, as well as provide consulting advice on anything to do with marketing, advertising and growth for your business.

We determine what each business’ specific marketing goals/needs are; identify areas of opportunity; then create a detailed, multi-channel marketing plan that will provide specific advice on exactly what to do to maximize your sales/profits in a comprehensive manner that you would likely not devise on your own.

Marketing Plan Process for developing a customized Business/Marketing Plan and Implementation Plan specifically for you:

  1. Each client fills out the SRFI our customized business and marketing questionnaire.
  2. Conduct an initial online consulting meeting so we can ask questions and get a thorough understanding about the business model, the products and services you offer, current status, existing growth efforts and marketing, as well as existing and future plans, ideas, business growth projections the business has been contemplating.
  3. After we do the consultation, we will provide you a list of any missing data we will need to finish the preliminary draft of your marketing plan. (The marketing plan normally takes 30-60 days to deliver from the time we get all the necessary data/information from you.)
  4. Here is a laundry list of the concepts we would provide online marketing consulting advice about, which could include but not be limited to:
  • ✔ Produc/service offerings
  • Market Positioning for your Unique Selling Propositions (USP’s)
  • Affiliate Marketing Strategies and Marketing Funnels
  • Packaging, bundling, creation of irresistible offers
  • Business and marketing strategies
  • Cost analysis
  • Target Market analysis
  • New Customer acquisition strategies
  • Customer reactivation strategies
  • Customer Referral strategies
  • Joint Venture strategies
  • Create testing strategies and analysis
  • Sales tactics and methods
  • Social media marketing
  • Public relations strategies
  • Live events/group selling
  • Video Marketing
  • Online and Offline advertising
  • Other online marketing strategies that will help grow your business and that suite your specific needs

NOTE – The process of creating and finalizing a marketing plan is just that – a process. It takes lots of thinking, brainstorming and analysis/recommendations… all of which takes time, and won’t happen overnight.

The process can be as short as 30-45 days, but in many cases a bit longer depending on:

  • Your specific circumstances,
  • How fast you can make decisions on some major issues,
  • How quickly you can provide the detailed information we need,
  • How fast you can accomplish some tasks necessary to move to the next steps,
  • The level of complication in one or more of the plan recommendations,
  • How fast you respond to us when we request you review or think about specific suggestions, (especially those that may require re-invention/re-configuration decisions),
  • And any other number of things that can slow progress down.
  1. Once we create the preliminary marketing plan, we will present it to you for review, discussion and brainstorming. PLEASE NOTE – The first job to arriving at a final marketing plan is to organize all your information, concerns and goals into one document for further analysis and prioritization. This preliminary plan is intended to be comprehensive and cover all aspects of marketing your programs.

This initial, preliminary draft of the marketing plan, while comprehensive, is usually not in a stage of completion that’s ready for the implementation to begin. Almost always, this first draft will need to be modified and edited as we collaborate/brainstorm on all the plan’s components, and work through it together…to arrive at a finalized plan.

This review/modification phase to finalize the plan can take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks from the date of the initial review/discussion.

It depends on aspects including but not limited to points like:

  • ✔ How fast we can work through the issues and areas of the plan that need to be modified,
  • ✔ How quickly you can determine what aspects of the plan you wish to pursue, aspects you don’t like, and additions to the plan we may decide upon as we brainstorm the plan,
  • ✔ How long it takes to obtain additional information if needed,
  • ✔ How long it might take to figure out/agree upon specifics such as:
  • ✔ One or more Unique Selling Propositions (USP’s),
  • ✔ Affiliate Programs and Marketing Funnels
  • ✔ Product/service re-invention/re-configuration,
  • ✔ New offers/packages,
  • ✔ Detailed steps in your marketing funnels,
  • ✔ Copy that may need to be upgraded to emotional Direct Response style copywriting,
  • ✔ Pricing/ascension models,
  • ✔ Continuity options,
  • ✔ Lead generation/opt-in/list building strategies,
  • ✔ Websites/landing pages/lead magnet re-configurations,
  • ✔ Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies,
  • ✔ Follow-up email and other sales maximization techniques,
  • ✔ Social Media – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
  • ✔ Adwords, Pay-Per-Click (PPC) models,
  • ✔ And more.
  1. Once we go through the preliminary draft and review/finalization process, we will deliver the final marketing plan prioritized by the phases of implantation.
  2. Within two weeks of the completion of the final marketing plan, we will deliver a detailed, step-by-step draft of an implementation guide, prioritizing and specifying the item-by-item checklist of actions to do first, second, third, etc.
  3. If needed, we may need to collaborate with you to modify the phase one implementation guide to arrive at the final version.
  4. We will prepare implementation guides for each subsequent implementation phase as we complete of each phase implementation.
  5. Everything we recommend in your plan is to be considered a test, as any time new marketing concepts/approaches are tried, they have to be tested in a small way. If something doesn’t work, the small test minimizes any losses. If the small test works, we can then expand it once we know it’s solid and performing. So using the SRFI Formula For Success model, we minimize losses with unsuccessful tests, and maximize profits with the winners.

We will continue to update and adjust the online marketing plan as time goes by, reflecting test results, changes to the plan or services offered, new ideas or joint ventures, or any number of reasons the plan will inevitably change.

In summary, we can help you:

  • ✔ Build your lists of buyers/prospects faster.
  • ✔ Create more products faster as the time you would spend on marketing can be converted into time developing new products and new markets.
  • ✔ Get more new customers/affiliates to buy faster.
  • ✔ Increase your average revenue per customer.
  • ✔ Increase your average number of transactions per customer.
  • ✔ Systematically convert non-buyers into repeat buying customers.
  • ✔ Increase continuity revenue.
  • ✔ Increase the Lifetime Value of a Customer. (LVC)
  • ✔ Know what to do, and how to do it, without having to guess or use trial/error. We will create your plan and assist in making decisions on choosing options out of the massive number of alternatives available.
  • ✔ Cut the learning curve to near zero days, hitting the ground running as soon as the arrangement is finalized.
  • ✔ Not be alone out there on your own, trying to step your way into the real business world using vendors/suppliers you find who do not know exactly what to do, and how to implement all marketing efforts quickly and properly.

Once the implementation process begins, we will monitor the progress and make any necessary adjustments to the marketing and implementation plan over the ensuing months.
